We all go through struggles and trials. We all have different struggles. Some of our struggles include: loneliness, pride, stress, lack of motivation, addictions, relationships, etc. I've struggled with each of these multiple times. What have/are you struggling with right now?
One thing I hated was when people would tell me that eventually my struggle's would go away with time. That statements somewhat true. I wanted all my struggles to just magically disappear right away. Unfortunately, your struggles don't go away unless you put in the work to make them go away.
I feel like its time for us to learn to embrace our struggle. Every once in a while we need a nightmare to see how blessed we really are. During my struggle's God has grown me the most. It takes a strong person to say, "God I can't do it anymore I need your help." God loves your submission. He wants your struggle.
Our struggle's make us stronger. Don't run away from your struggle. Embrace it. Romans 5: 3-4 states, "We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope."
There is a purpose for our struggle. God promises if you love him that everything will work together for GOOD. Romans 8:28 states, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." That's a promise from God. Hold on to it.
When we're at our weakest God's at his strongest. It doesn't matter how weird, sick, or broken you are, God wants to do something with your struggle. Jesus tells the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." The next verse Paul states, "I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." Delight in your struggle. I promise God has an awesome plan for you. We just need to keep pursuing him. People don't become strong physically, mentally, or spiritually overnight. It takes dedication and hard work.
God's using your struggle to make you stronger. Trust that, believe that, and meditate on that. Remind God of his promises. He honors that and respects that. Your struggle's might cause you to stumble, but God will be right there to pick you back up. (Psalms 37:24)
