Let It Go

I'll be honest, I watched the movie Frozen and I enjoyed it a lot! I think it's one of Disney's best works to date.

Through out a majority of the movie Elsa has a frozen heart. Her younger sister Anna keeps pursuing her despite her frozen heart.

Frozen taught me that love has no boundaries. Real love breaks down walls, travels through the worst conditions, and never stops pursuing regardless of the circumstances. Love isn't satisfied just talking about—love requires action.

Love is putting someone else's needs before your own. Love isn't selfish it's selfless. Love doesn't rudely point out wrong doings—love is gentle and points to grace and truth. Let's not love in word or talk, but in action and truth.

Do you know anyone with a frozen heart? I think we all do. People with a frozen heart can be the hardest to love, but they need our love the most. The best way to unfreeze a frozen heart is to love that person unconditionally. I struggle loving people with a frozen or bitter heart. Sometimes I ask myself, "Do they deserve my love?" "Do they deserve my time?" "Do they deserve my best?" The answers to all these questions is yes.

We all have frozen hearts from time to time. We need to have people in our lives that we can go to during these times. It's so much easier going through rough times with someone else. Don't do it alone.

Don't hold on to love—let it go Frozen style. Love doesn't have restrictions. Real love doesn't just love the deserving, but the undeserving. Don't just sprinkle love on people—pour it on people. Do a front flip into the ocean of love and let the splash drench everyone around you.
